Shipping
Orders are processed and shipped during normal business hours from Monday to Friday. We do not process orders on National or Provincial holidays. Your order will typically ship within 1-2 business days from time of purchase.

Canadian Orders
From St. John to Victoria, Yellowknife to Windsor, we want all of Canada to enjoy Omiyage’s fabulous goodies! Our $7.50 Flat Rate Shipping fee includes ground shipping via Canada Post Expedited Post. Expedited Shipping features insurance and a tracking number. Expected transit times with Canada Post are between 2-7 business days. Deliveries to rural areas may take longer.
Upon shipment, you will receive an email confirming that your package has shipped and tracking information.
*Exception for Small Packets: Orders under $30.00 and meeting Canada Post’s Letter Mail specifications will ship via Letter Mail. Should your order fall into this category, we will round the actual shipping cost up to the nearest dollar amount and provide you with a refund for the excess shipping costs. If you would prefer for your small order to ship via Expedited Post, please include a note during checkout. For example: a 2 Pack of mt Washi Tape will ship for only $2.00!
U.S. Orders
Our $7.50 Flat Rate Shipping fee includes orders weighing up to 500g. Orders ship via Canada Post Light Packet Service or US Surface Service depending on the size and weight of your order. Expected transit times are between 4-13 business days. Deliveries to rural areas may take longer. Please note that this service does not include a tracking number.
Each product has an approximate weight listed. Please note these weights are for reference only and do not include packaging weights. We generally require about 30g reserved for packaging. Packaging weights increase when shipping large items such asbento boxes or flexible items such as paper bags. We do our best to maintain the lowest possible packaging weight while ensuring your order is properly protected.
* For orders over 500g in weight, a shipping supplement will be required. Total shipping cost depends on the size and weight of your order. If required, we will send you a request for a shipping supplement after your ordered has been received and processed. Your order will be held until the shipping supplement is received. At this stage in the order process, should you prefer to cancel or modify your order rather than pay the shipping supplement, your order can be cancelled with a 100% refund or we can work with you to reduce the weight of your order.
*Exception for Small Packets. Orders weighing less than 100g and measuring less than 35cm x 27cm x 2cm will ship for $3.00. If your order ships as a Small Packet, you will be refunded $4.50 when your order is processed.
Please note that any duties or taxes levied by US Customs are the responsibility of the customer, not of Omiyage.
International Orders
If you are shopping Omiyage from England, New Zealand or any place in between, we would be happy to ship to you. (If you're shopping Omiyage from Japan, are you nuts? Get out there and find your own treasures!)
Our $7.50 Flat Rate Shipping fee includes orders weighing up to 250g. Orders ship via Canada Post International Air Mail. Expected transit times are approximately 6-10 business days. Please note that this service does not include a tracking number.

If required, we will send you a request for a shipping supplement after your ordered has been received and processed. Your order will be held until the shipping supplement is received. At this stage in the order process, should you prefer to cancel or modify your order rather than pay the shipping supplement, your order can be cancelled with a 100% refund or we can work with you to reduce the weight of your order.

Express Shipping
If you need your order in a hurry, send us an email with the items you are interested in ordering, address including postal code and required timeline. We will respond with a quote for express shipping. Please DO NOT order through site. We can be reached at info@omiyage.ca, or by simply completing our CONTACT FORM.
Return Policy
We will honour returns of items for refund or exchange for up to 21 days from original date of purchase. Unused items must be returned to Omiyage in their original condition, and in sealed packaging for refund or exchange to be issued. Please note that all refunds will be issued via PayPal.
Please note that due to the delicate nature of the papers, Japanese Washi Paper and Paper Packs cannot be returned. You may find that the colour of papers received is slightly different from that depicted on our website. This is due to differences in computer and monitor settings and cannot be controlled on our end.
Please note that all purchases from our Outlet section are final sale. No returns or exchanges will be offered.

If you would like to return an item for return or exchange, kindly send us an email indicating the item(s) to be returned or exchanged and the reason. We will then issue you a Return or Exchange number. This number must be indicated on your return.Please send items to be returned or exchanged to:
